Snowing!

I was very surprised when I opened the front door and noticed the snow blankets on the neighbor's roof this morning.  My husband heard my surprised shout "Oh shit!" from the living room.  My shout was so loud and panicky that he thought I found a dead body in front of the door or something.
I quickly went outside and took a few photos.
 Meguro river.  Still snowing.
After a few minutes outside, my non-waterproof boots were already soaked wet and my feet were freezing.
The last photo in the morning.  Meguro castle.
Look at my socks in a sorry state!  Not just wet, it's wet and cold!
At 2:00 p.m., I went outside again to take more photos.  The snow changed to rain, unfortunately.
This time, I wore my Gore-Tex hiking boots.  My boots kept my feet warm and dry!
The Meteorological Agency reported that parts of Tokyo recorded snowfall of 6-8 cms as of 1:00 p.m.
Snow fell on the flower.
 Reminds me snow cones.
 Along Meguro river
Tennis court was completely covered with snow.
 Meguro River
 Snow on the tree
 Snow melting or raindrops?
 Meguro river and the chimney
 The park
My first time to visit the shrine.
No footsteps on the ground.  Looks like I'm the first one to visit today!
There's snow on the head of the dog too.

I grew up where snow was almost nonexistent.  I had twice "big" snowfalls (like a few cms) when I was young.  That's how often I saw snow.  This is probably why I am stuck at beginner's level at snowboarding although I think I've had more than my fair share of snowboarding to become at least intermediate.

Anyway, so I get very excited every time I see snow (I refuse to live in a cold place though).  The city looks a little bit prettier when it's covered with white snow blankets, and it's pretty cool (as long as I am in a warm place).

But damn, I washed the couch cover and hang it outside to let it dry yesterday.  Actually it's still outside.  Wet.  Very wet.  Just thinking I have to wash it, the damn big thick cover thing, all over again gives me  a headache.
